Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Woman And Mirror) by Paritosh Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paritosh Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ahmedabad Scene in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 66,209.51).
