Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Woman And Mirror) by Paritosh Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paritosh Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ahmedabad Scene in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 66,209.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Woman And Mirror) von Paritosh Sen kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.267,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paritosh Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ahmedabad Scene im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 66.209,51).
