In the Photographs auction, the work Civilians sift through the rubble looking for survivors following an Israeli air raid. Beirut, Lebanon from Double Blind sold for GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,100.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paolo Pellegrin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Traces of war, 2001-2005 sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of EUR 11,250.00.
