A top price for Pang Xunqin - as previously expected
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Red Roof (Painted In 1977) by Pang Xunqin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 550,000.00 – 850,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Red Roof (Painted In 1977) is the most expensive artwork by Pang Xunqin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Roof (Painted In 1977) von Pang Xunqin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 550.000,00 – 850.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Red Roof (Painted In 1977) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pang Xunqin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
