The work Reclining Nude by Pan Yuliang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 13,880,000.00 (€ 1,604,121.13), 74% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pan Yuliang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lady Bathers At The Seashore sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).

Die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Pan Yuliang wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 13.880.000,00 (€ 1.604.121,13) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pan Yuliang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore im Oktober 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26).
