Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Nude Beauty （Double-Sided）(Painted In 1958) by Pan Yuliang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 5,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 5,192,000.00 (€ 571,440.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Yuliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady Bathers At The Seashore, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude Beauty （Double-Sided）(Painted In 1958) von Pan Yuliang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 5.192.000,00 (€ 571.440,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Yuliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26) versteigert wurde.
