Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pamela J. Crook could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art including Works from the Collection of Bannon & Barnabas McHenry auction, the work The Card Players changed hands for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,444.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pamela J. Crook achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger Child in March 2013 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,782.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pamela J. Crook konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art including Works from the Collection of Bannon & Barnabas McHenry wechselte die Arbeit The Card Players für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.444,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pamela J. Crook erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiger Child im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.782,07).
