Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glorious Domesticity by Pamela J. Crook was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,225.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pamela J. Crook achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger Child in March 2013 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,782.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glorious Domesticity von Pamela J. Crook wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.225,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pamela J. Crook erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiger Child im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.782,07).
