In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Tête by Pablo Picasso. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,454.12), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
