Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work View towards Møns Klint (the Cliffs of Møn) with 'Taleren' seen from the beach by P. C. Skovgaard was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 85,000.00 (€ 11,406.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by P. C. Skovgaard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit View towards Møns Klint (the Cliffs of Møn) with 'Taleren' seen from the beach von P. C. Skovgaard kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 85.000,00 (€ 11.406,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87) versteigert wurde.
