The work Landscape with trees by a lake, summer evening by P. C. Skovgaard was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The result of DKK 40,000.00 (€ 5,369.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by P. C. Skovgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Landscape with trees by a lake, summer evening von P. C. Skovgaard kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 40.000,00 (€ 5.369,96) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87).
