Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From the outskirts of Knabstrup Dyrehave by P. C. Skovgaard was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 871.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by P. C. Skovgaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From the outskirts of Knabstrup Dyrehave von P. C. Skovgaard kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 871,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87).
