It achieved a price of GBP 252,000.00 (€ 292,752.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ouattara Watts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afro Beat, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 781,200.00 (€ 727,984.34).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 252.000,00 (€ 292.752,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ouattara Watts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afro Beat beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 781.200,00 (€ 727.984,34) versteigert wurde.
