Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il Forte di Cecina by Ottone Rosai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,000.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ottone Rosai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Orchestrina (Il Concertino) in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 124,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il Forte di Cecina von Ottone Rosai wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.000,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ottone Rosai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Orchestrina (Il Concertino) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 124.000,00.
