Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ottone Rosai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Figura + ambiente sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ottone Rosai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Orchestrina (Il Concertino) in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 124,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ottone Rosai erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Figura + ambiente für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ottone Rosai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Orchestrina (Il Concertino) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 124.000,00.
