Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Women Doing The Laundry by Otto van Rees was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2014. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otto van Rees have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte - Still life in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 29,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Women Doing The Laundry von Otto van Rees kam im Juni 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto van Rees auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature morte - Still life im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 29.875,00.
