This artwork by Otto van Rees achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2014. In the Modern Art auction, the work Farmers Working The Field sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Otto van Rees; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nature morte - Still life sold at auction in June 2003 with the realized price of EUR 29,875.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto van Rees erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Farmers Working The Field für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Otto van Rees; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nature morte - Still life im Juni 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 29.875,00.
