Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Otto Pareroultja was sold in the Aboriginal Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in July 2009. The price achieved of AUD 8,400.00 (€ 4,755.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Pareroultja - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghost Gums, which sold at auction in July 2009 for AUD 32,400.00 (€ 18,343.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Otto Pareroultja wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Aboriginal Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 8.400,00 (€ 4.755,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Pareroultja mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghost Gums beobachtet, die im Juli 2009 für AUD 32.400,00 (€ 18.343,65) versteigert wurde.
