Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Otto Hesselbom could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Klassiska auction, the work View over Koppom, Värmland changed hands for SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,781.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Hesselbom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vårt land" (Our Country), which sold at auction in December 2019 for SEK 145,000.00 (€ 13,819.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Hesselbom konnte im Juni 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Klassiska wechselte die Arbeit View over Koppom, Värmland für SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.781,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Hesselbom mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vårt land" (Our Country) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für SEK 145.000,00 (€ 13.819,36) versteigert wurde.
