Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Otto Gutfreund could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Cubist Compositions changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 600.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Gutfreund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech lovers, Embracing Figures (Milenci, Objímající Se Postavy) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 51,830.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Gutfreund konnte im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Cubist Compositions für GBP 500,00 (€ 600,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Gutfreund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech lovers, Embracing Figures (Milenci, Objímající Se Postavy) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 51.830,82).
