Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Compositions by Otto Gutfreund for GBP 688.00 (€ 825.82). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Gutfreund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech lovers, Embracing Figures (Milenci, Objímající Se Postavy) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 51,830.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Compositions von Otto Gutfreund für GBP 688,00 (€ 825,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Gutfreund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech lovers, Embracing Figures (Milenci, Objímající Se Postavy) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 51.830,82).
