Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century & Modern Art, which included the work Gordon Setters puppies by Otto Eerelman. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otto Eerelman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gordon Setters puppies von Otto Eerelman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 213.600,00.
