Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A study of a Saint Bernard puppy by Otto Eerelman. The price achieved of EUR 2,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Eerelman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A study of a Saint Bernard puppy von Otto Eerelman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 213.600,00.
