This artwork by Otto Eerelman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. In the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction, the work The Royal sleigh ride sold for EUR 55,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Eerelman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 213,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Eerelman erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) wurde die Arbeit The Royal sleigh ride für EUR 55.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 213.600,00 versteigert wurde.
