Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Bernard puppies drinking milk by Otto Eerelman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 40,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otto Eerelman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.

Die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies drinking milk von Otto Eerelman kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 40.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 213.600,00.
