Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Otto Eerelman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work A Saint-Bernard in the snow sold for EUR 18,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Eerelman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Eerelman erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit A Saint-Bernard in the snow für EUR 18.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 213.600,00.
