In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Bid and Ask sold for USD 144,000.00 (€ 107,039.32) - well above the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otis Kaye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Easy Come, Easy Go in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 467,527.74).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otis Kaye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Easy Come, Easy Go im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 467.527,74).
