Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Nature Morte by Ossip Lubitch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,560.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ossip Lubitch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature Morte Aux Fleurs Et Fruits Sur Une Table, Circa 1930 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 7,435.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte von Ossip Lubitch zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.560,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ossip Lubitch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fleurs Et Fruits Sur Une Table, Circa 1930 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.435,00.
