It achieved a price of EUR 1,403.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Admittedly, works by Ossip Lubitch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature Morte Aux Fleurs Et Fruits Sur Une Table, Circa 1930 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 7,435.00.

Die Arbeit Les Toits von Ossip Lubitch wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.403,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ossip Lubitch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fleurs Et Fruits Sur Une Table, Circa 1930 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.435,00.
