Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Still Life With Apples And Pumpkin by Iosif Braz. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,020.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Iosif Braz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2005 the work Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet was auctioned for GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,362.65).

Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Apples And Pumpkin von Iosif Braz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.020,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Iosif Braz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2005 die Arbeit Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet für GBP 33.600,00 (€ 49.362,65) versteigert.
