Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Houses by the river by Iosif Braz. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,929.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iosif Braz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,362.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Houses by the river von Iosif Braz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.929,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iosif Braz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.600,00 (€ 49.362,65).
