A top price for Iosif Braz - as previously expected
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet by Iosif Braz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,362.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet is the most expensive artwork by Iosif Braz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with apples on a partially draped carpet von Iosif Braz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 33.600,00 (€ 49.362,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
