Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Fishing vessels off the Neapolitan coast by Oscar Ricciardi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,680.09), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Oscar Ricciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,359.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing vessels off the Neapolitan coast von Oscar Ricciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.680,09) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Ricciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.359,89).
