Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Casting nets on the Amalfi coast by Oscar Ricciardi was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,407.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Ricciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,359.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Casting nets on the Amalfi coast von Oscar Ricciardi kam im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.407,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Ricciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.359,89).
