Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Oscar Murillo was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 69,300.00 (€ 70,837.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Murillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 342,693.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oscar Murillo kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 70.837,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Murillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 342.693,81).
