The work Sans Titre by Oscar Gauthier was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art II auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2019. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,100.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Oscar Gauthier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tourments d'une fleur in June last year with an auction result of EUR 75,975.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Oscar Gauthier wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art II bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.100,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Gauthier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tourments d'une fleur im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.975,00.
