The work Composition - 1951 by Oscar Gauthier was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 20,992.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oscar Gauthier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tourments d'une fleur, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 75,975.00.

Die Arbeit Composition - 1951 von Oscar Gauthier kam im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 20.992,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Oscar Gauthier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tourments d'une fleur beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 75.975,00 versteigert wurde.
