Auction result well in line with expectations
The work CT-ZPD - 1953 by Oscar Gauthier was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 18,368.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Gauthier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tourments d'une fleur in June last year with an auction result of EUR 75,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit CT-ZPD - 1953 von Oscar Gauthier wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.368,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Gauthier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tourments d'une fleur im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.975,00.
