Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans Titre - 1948 by Oscar Gauthier was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in April 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,340.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Gauthier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tourments d'une fleur in June last year with an auction result of EUR 75,975.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1948 von Oscar Gauthier wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.340,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oscar Gauthier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tourments d'une fleur im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.975,00.
