Die Arbeit Rose Et Gris von Oscar Gauthier kam im Oktober 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Gauthier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tourments d'une fleur im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.975,00.
