Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Orrin Augustine White could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Landscape with eucalyptus changed hands for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,085.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Orrin Augustine White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Sycamores in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 25,573.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Orrin Augustine White konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Landscape with eucalyptus für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.085,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Orrin Augustine White erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Sycamores im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 25.573,68).
