Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work Old barns, Waddon Manor, Dorset by Oliver Hall. It changed hands for a price of GBP 456.00 (€ 676.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A bridge in a river landscape, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 956.00 (€ 1,431.04).
