In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work The Mill House, Avila by Oliver Hall. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 881.25 (€ 1,276.60), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Oliver Hall have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 956.00 (€ 1,431.04) in March 2004 for the work A bridge in a river landscape.
