Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Oliver Hall could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A country road changed hands for GBP 300.00 (€ 435.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A bridge in a river landscape, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 956.00 (€ 1,431.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oliver Hall konnte im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit A country road für GBP 300,00 (€ 435,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A bridge in a river landscape beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 956,00 (€ 1.431,04) versteigert wurde.
