Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ramp by Oliver Boberg was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 3,600.00 (€ 2,721.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Boberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Himmel Iv, which sold at auction in May 2006 for USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,545.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ramp von Oliver Boberg kam im Februar 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.600,00 (€ 2.721,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Boberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Himmel Iv beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.545,62) versteigert wurde.
