Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mogrytsya Place, Leafes by Oleksandr Zhyvotkov was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in London in April 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,900.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oleksandr Zhyvotkov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work N1, Form Roads. Destination North-East Series, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,546.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mogrytsya Place, Leafes von Oleksandr Zhyvotkov wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.900,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oleksandr Zhyvotkov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work N1, Form Roads. Destination North-East Series beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.546,28) versteigert wurde.
