Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vinum Animi Speculum - 2023 by Olamilekan Abatan was auctioned at Artcurial in Cologne in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 14,432.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olamilekan Abatan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Narcisse, 2022, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 36,736.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vinum Animi Speculum - 2023 von Olamilekan Abatan kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 14.432,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Olamilekan Abatan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Narcisse, 2022 beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 36.736,00 versteigert wurde.
