Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Olaf Carl Seltzer could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Bear and Horse with Saddle (a group of two) changed hands for USD 318.75 (€ 300.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olaf Carl Seltzer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blackfeet Warriors (Piegans) in May last year with an auction result of USD 100,800.00 (€ 93,933.46).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olaf Carl Seltzer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blackfeet Warriors (Piegans) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 93.933,46).
