In April 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included the work Untitled (No. 10) by Ola Kolehmainen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,987.52), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ola Kolehmainen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (No. 13), which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im April 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (No. 10) von Ola Kolehmainen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.987,52) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ola Kolehmainen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (No. 13) beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.272,57) versteigert wurde.
