Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ola Kolehmainen could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction, the work See What You See (Composition in a Garden), 2006/ 07 changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 560.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ola Kolehmainen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (No. 13) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ola Kolehmainen konnte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit See What You See (Composition in a Garden), 2006/ 07 für GBP 500,00 (€ 560,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ola Kolehmainen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (No. 13) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.272,57).
