- Eagle on tree trunk in rain
- White heron on branch
Each a naga-oban: each approx. 49.8 x 21.7 cm., 19⅝ x 8¾ in.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Fine Japanese Prints, which included the work Two woodblock prints by Ohara Koson. The price achieved of GBP 5,292.00 (€ 6,312.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ohara Koson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hanging scroll, ink and colour on silk, of monkeys in a maple tree over a waterfall, signed Koson and sealed Koson, which sold at auction in May 2013 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,153.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Fine Japanese Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two woodblock prints von Ohara Koson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.292,00 (€ 6.312,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ohara Koson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hanging scroll, ink and colour on silk, of monkeys in a maple tree over a waterfall, signed Koson and sealed Koson beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.153,01) versteigert wurde.
